iShares Semiconductor ETF
The iShares Semiconductor ETF tracks the ICE Semiconductor Index with 30 holdings. It uses a modified market-cap weighting that caps individual stock weights, resulting in more balanced exposure across the chip industry compared to the top-heavy SMH. This gives mid-cap chipmakers like ON Semiconductor and Microchip Technology meaningfully more representation.
