Shares of Ondas Holdings Inc. traded higher on Thursday after the company, alongside technology partners Palantir Technologies and World View Enterprises, unveiled a strategic collaboration to construct a next-generation intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) platform. The initiative aims to create a connected network leveraging stratospheric balloons, unmanned aerial systems, and terrestrial assets, powered by artificial intelligence.

The market reacted positively to the news, with Ondas stock climbing more than 2% in premarket activity. By the early trading session, gains moderated, with shares settling approximately 1.1% higher at $9.94.

At the core of the project is World View's Stratollite, a persistent, station-keeping balloon platform designed to operate in the stratosphere. This layer is intended to bridge the operational gap between traditional satellite and aircraft coverage, offering a potentially more cost-effective and enduring sensing capability. The alliance, initially formed by Ondas and World View earlier this month, is now enhanced by the integration of Palantir's software, specifically targeting defense and homeland security clients.

Palantir's Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) will be deployed to manage mission planning, production, and edge operations. A key feature of this architecture is the ability to process data directly on or near the sensing vehicle, reducing latency by eliminating the need to transmit vast amounts of information to distant data centers. The companies stated the objective is to evolve beyond conventional ISR, which focuses primarily on data collection, toward enabling faster, AI-augmented decision-making for operators in the field.

The collaboration is structured around three primary workstreams: Palantir Warp Speed for supply chain and manufacturing optimization, AI Flight Director for mission operations, and SkyWeaver for onboard computing and AI analysis. Development work on World View's systems is already underway, with full integration into the broader Ondas portfolio of unmanned ground, air, and counter-drone technologies anticipated by the fourth quarter of 2026.

Executive commentary highlighted the strategic vision. Palantir CEO Alex Karp described the initiative as a "new frontier in operational intelligence." World View CEO Ryan Hartman emphasized embedding software and edge intelligence directly into the Stratollite's design and operations. Ondas CEO Eric Brock pointed to the potential emergence of a more agile, "software-defined ISR architecture" from the partnership.

The announcement follows a series of strategic moves by Ondas. Earlier in March, the company made a $10 million investment in World View. Subsequently, Ondas has moved to merge with defense contractor Mistral, completed the acquisition of BIRD Aerosystems—gaining missile-defense and airborne ISR technologies—and secured an initial $15.8 million order for an Israeli demining program.

Financially, Ondas provided an updated outlook alongside the deal news. The company raised its 2025 revenue projection to a range of $49.7 million to $50.7 million, exceeding its prior forecast. For 2026, Ondas reaffirmed its revenue guidance of $170 million to $180 million, a figure that does not include contributions from potential future acquisitions. The company is scheduled to report final fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results on March 25. Ondas noted preliminary figures for 2025 indicate a net loss between $52.8 million and $53.3 million, underscoring the importance of transitioning from development to real-world, revenue-generating deployment.

The partnership was announced during Palantir's AIPCon event in Miami, where the software firm also disclosed expanded agreements with GE Aerospace on military-aircraft readiness and a sovereign AI infrastructure project with Nvidia. This positions the Ondas-World View deal as part of Palantir's broader strategy to embed its AI platforms at the core of critical aerospace, energy, and defense operations globally.
